Taking full advantage of any performance car's full potential must be done at the racetrack. Perfect Power prepares street cars for the track (high performance brake pads, fluid and inspection), builds race cars from the ground up and can perform any task in between. The most important component to any race car is the driver. The driver is usually where the biggest improvement can be made. Because of this, Perfect Power focuses a significant part of its time working with the drivers and data acquisition systems.
TRACK SUPPORT:
Track support is given assuming that the car has properly been prepped.
- Track support includes:
- Loading and unloading car from trailer and tying it down.
- Checking oil level.
- Checking fuel level.
- Torque wheels
- Set tire pressures cold
- Check tire pressures hot at the end of each session.
- Check tire temperatures hot at the end of each session.
- Make chassis adjustments as needed.
- Change wheels and tires.
- Flush and bleed brakes as needed.
- Replace brake pads as needed.
- Download data and coach driver.
- Make any repairs that are possible to make at the track.
RACE PREPARATION:
Race preparation varies widely from a street car to a GT car. Prep can be as little as a nut and bolt inspection and a flush and bleed of the brakes, to adjusting valves or changing gears in a transaxle. Our normal shop labor rate of $140/hour will apply. Each job is a unique job and is ultimately billed out on a time/material basis.
